Genesis 1:1-5 Where Scripture Speaks Clearly NKJV

First set of verses of Genesis

Genesis 1:1-5 IN the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

The earth was without form, and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night, So the evening and the morning was the first day.

Genesis 1:26-31 Then God said, “Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.”

Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, In which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”, and it was so.

Then God saw everything that He has made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Last set of verses in Genesis

Genesis 50:22-26 So Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he and his father’s household. And Joseph lived one hundred and ten years.

Joseph saw Ephraim’s children to the third generation. The children of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were also brought up on Joseph’s knees.

And Joseph said to his brethren, “I am dying; but God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”

Then Joseph took an oath from the children of Israel, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.”

So Joseph died, being one hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.
