Responding to questions
Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.
If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.
Isaiah 55:11 Quest NIV so is my word that goes out from my mouth; It will not return to me empty; but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 Quest NIV All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Peter 1:19-21 Quest NIV We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things.
For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
How to hear and understand the Gospel
The LORD Speaks
Job 38:1-3 Quest NIV Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm. He said;
“Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge?
Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and your shall answer me.
Job 40:6-7 Quest NIV Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm;
“Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.
Job 42:4-7 Quest NIV “You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak; I will question, and you shall answer me.’
My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.
Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.”
After the LORD had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.
Romans 10:14-17 Quest NIV How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written; “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Acts 26:17-18 Quest NIV I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them
to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
Romans 15:4-7 Quest NIV For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,
so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
Here is Today’s Message
The definition of fear in this verse means dread, that ought to be feared, terribleness, terror
The number 4172 means a fear, terror.
God’s Covenant with Noah
Genesis 9:1-7 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
The fear and dread of your will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.
Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you, Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
“But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.
And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.
“Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.
As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it”.
Psalm 9:19-20 Arise, Lord, do not let mortals triumph; let the nations be judged in your presence.
Strike them with terror, LORD; let the nations know they are only mortal.
Isaiah 8:11-15 This is what the Lords says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people :
“Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.
The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.
He will be a holy place; for both Israel and Judah he will be a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and snare.
Many of them will stumble; they will fall and be broken, they will be snared and captured.”
Breaking Covenant Through Blemished Sacrifices
Malachi 1:6-11 A son honors his father, and a slave his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?” Says the Lord Almighty. ” It is you priests who show contempt for my name. “But you ask, ‘How have we shown contempt for your name?’
“By offering defiled food on my altar. “But you ask, ‘How have we defiled you?’ “By saying that the Lord’s table is contemptible.
When you offer blind animals for sacrifice, it that not wrong? When you sacrifice lame or diseased animals, is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you?” says the Lord Almighty.
Now plead with God to be gracious to us. With such offerings from you hands, will he accept you?”–says the Lord Almighty.
Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would not light useless fires on my altar! I am not pleased with you,” says the Lord Almighty,” and I will accept no offering from your hands.
My name will be great among the nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to me, because my name will be great among the nations.” says the Lord Almighty.
Malachi 2:3-8 “Because of you I will rebuke your descendants, I will smear on your faces dung from your festival sacrifices, and you will be carried of with it.
And you will know that I have sent you this warning so that my covenant with Levi may continue,” says the Lord Almighty.
My covenant was with him, a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence and he revered me and stood in awe of my name.
True instruction was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin.
“For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty and people see instruction from his mouth.
But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi,” says the Lord Almighty.
