Responding to questions

Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.

If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.

Isaiah 55:11 NKJV So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:19-21 NKJV And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,

knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,

for prophecy never came by the will of  man, but holy men of God spoke as  they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

 Job 38:1-3 NKJV Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said;

“Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?

Now prepare yourself like a man, I will question you, and you shall answer Me.

Job 40:6-7 NKJV Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

“Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me:

Job 42:4-7 NKJV Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’

“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees you.

Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.”

And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant job has.

Romans 10:14-17 NKJV How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written; “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Acts 26:17-18 NKJV ‘I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,

‘to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may  receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

Romans 15:4-7 NKJV For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,

that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

Here is Today’s Message

Joel 1:1-2 THE word of the Lord that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.

Hear this, you elders, And give ear, all you inhabitants of the land! Has anything like this happened in your days, Or even in the days of your fathers?

Joel 2:1-14 Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound the alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand;
A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains, A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations.
A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them.
Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like swift steeds, so they run.
With a  noise like chariots Over mountaintops they leap, Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, Like a strong strong people set in battle array.
Before them the people writhe in pain, All faces are drained of color.
They run like mighty men, They climb the wall like men of war; Every one marches in formation, And they do not break ranks.
They do not push one another; Every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, They are not cut down.
They run to and fro in the city, They run on the wall; They climb into the houses, They enter at the windows like a thief.
The earth quakes before them, The heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness.
The Lord gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?
“Now, therefore,” says the Lord,”Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with morning.”
So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.
Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him– A grain offering and a drink offering, For the Lord your God?
Jeremiah 4:5-9 Declare in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem, and say: “Blow the trumpet in the land; Cry, ‘Gather together,’ And say, ‘Assemble yourselves, And let us go into the fortified cities.’
Set up the standard toward Zion. Take refuse! Do not delay! For I will bring disaster from the north, And great destruction.”
The lion has come up from his thicket, And the destroyer of nations is on his way. He has gone forth from his place To make your land desolate. Your cities will be laid waste, Without inhabitant.
For this clothe yourself with sackcloth, Lament and wail. For the fierce anger of the LORD Has not turned back from us.
“And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the LORD, “That the heart of the king shall perish, And the heart of the princes; The priests shall be astonished, And the prophets shall wonder.”
Numbers 10:1-6 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying;
“Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps.
“When they blow of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
“But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall gather to you.
“When you sound the advance, the camps that lie on the east side shall then begin their journey.
“When you sound the advance the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall begin their journey; they shall sound the call for them to begin their journeys.
Obadiah 15 “For the day of the LORD upon all the nations is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you; Your reprisal shall return upon your own head.
Amos 5:18-20 Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! For what good is the day of the LORD to you? It will be darkness, and not light.
It will be as though a man fled from the lion, And a bear net him! Or as though he went into the house, Leaned his hand on the wall, And a serpent bit him!
Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light? Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it?

Zechariah 7:13-14 “Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen,” says the LORD of hosts.
“But I scattered then with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known. Thus the land became desolate after them, so that no one passed through or returned; for they made the pleasant land desolate.”
Revelation 9:6-10 In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth.
And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle.
They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months.
Jeremiah 9:20-21 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O women, And let your ear receive the word of His mouth; Teach your daughters wailing, And everyone her neighbor a lamentation.
For death has come through our windows, Has entered our palaces, To kill off the children–no longer to be outside! And the young men– no longer on the streets!
John 10:1-3 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
“But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
“To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Psalm 18:7-9 Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry,

He bowed the heavens also, and came down With darkness under His feet.
Isaiah 13:9-12 Behold, the day of the LORD comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it.
For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not give their light; The sun will be darkened in its going forth, And the moon will not cause its light to shine.
I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir.
Isaiah 34:4 All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; All their host shall fall down As the leaf falls from the vine, And as fruit falling from a fig tree.
Jeremiah 25:30-31 “Therefore prophesy against them all these words, and say to them: ‘The LORD will roar from on high, And utter His voice from His holy habitation; He will roar mightily against His fold. He will give a shout, as those who tread the grapes, Against all the inhabitants of the earth.
A noise will come to the ends of the earth–For the LORD has a controversy with the nations; He will plead His case with all flesh. He will give those who are wicked to the sword,’ says the LORD.”
Revelation 18:8 “Therefore her plagues will come in one day–death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.

Psalm 51:10-19 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to you.

Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.

O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.

For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart–These, O God, You will not despise.

-+-Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem.

The You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, With burnt offering and whole burnt offering; Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.
