Responding to questions

I would suggest before reading this Bible message that you would please read the About the Blog tab. The purpose of this site is to take questions in the Bible and only use Scripture to answer the question.

Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages. If I spend time doing messages on other  sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions.

If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible.

The only technical information I have is being obedient to what God puts on my heart to do. God gave me the help that I needed all along the way. He will help me when there are any issues of compatibility for you to read the stories. I also have a person I contact with any changes that need to be made.

Isaiah 55:11 CPD so also will my word be, which will go forth from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish whatever I will, and it will prosper in the tasks for which I sent it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 CPD All Scripture, having been divinely inspired, is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in justice,

so that the man of God may be perfect, having been trained for every good work.

2 Peter 1:19-21 CPD And so, we have an even firmer prophetic word, to which you would do well to listen, as to a light shining within a dark place, until the day dawns, and the daystar rises, in your hearts.

Understand this first: that every prophecy of Scripture does not result from one’s own interpretation.
For prophecy was not conveyed by human will at any time. Instead, holy men were speaking about God while inspired by the Holy Spirit.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

Job 38:1-3 CPD But the Lord, responding to Job from a whirlwind, said:

Who is this that wraps sentences in unskilled words?
Gird your waist like a man. I will question you, and you must answer me.

Job 40:6-7 CPD Scatter the arrogant with your wrath, and, when you see all the arrogant, humble them.

Look down upon each of the arrogant and confound them, and crush the impious in their place.

Job 42:4-7 CPD Listen, and I will speak. I will question you, and you may answer me.

By paying attention with the ear, I have heard you, but now my eye sees you.
Therefore, I find myself reprehensible, and I will do penance in embers and ashes.
But after the Lord had finished speaking these words to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Themanite: My wrath has been kindled against you, and against your two friends, because you have not been speaking correctly in my eyes, as my servant Job has done.

Romans 10:14-17  CPD Then in what way will those who have not believed in him call upon him? Or in what way will those who have not heard of him believe in him? And in what way will they hear of him without preaching?

And truly, in what way will they preach, unless they have been sent, just as it has been written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who evangelize peace, of those who evangelize what is good!”
But not all are obedient to the Gospel. For Isaiah says: “Lord, who has believed our report?”
Therefore, faith is from hearing, and hearing is through the Word of Christ.

Acts 26:17-18 CPD rescuing you from the people and the nations to which I am now sending you,

in order to open their eyes, so that they may be converted from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive the remission of sins and a place among the saints, through the faith that is in me.’

Romans 15:4-7 CPD For whatever was written, was written to teach us, so that, through patience and the consolation of the Scriptures, we might have hope.

So may the God of patience and solace grant you to be of one mind toward one another, in accord with Jesus Christ,
so that, together with one mouth, you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For this reason, accept one another, just as Christ also has accepted you, in the honor of God.

Here is Today’s Message

Romans 15:14-21 But I am also certain about you, my brothers, that you also have been filled with love, completed with all knowledge, so that you are able to admonish one another.

But I have written to you, brothers, more boldly than to the others, as if calling you to mind again, because of the grace which has been given to me from God,
so that I may be a minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles, sanctifying the Gospel of God, in order that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and may be sanctified in the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, I have glory in Christ Jesus before God.
So I dare not speak of any of those things which Christ does not effect through me, unto the obedience of the Gentiles, in word and deed,
with the power of signs and wonders, by power of the Holy Spirit. For in this way, from Jerusalem, throughout its surroundings, as far as Illyricum, I have replenished the Gospel of Christ.
And so I have preached this Gospel, not where Christ was known by name, lest I build upon the foundation of another,
but just as it was written: “Those to whom he was not announced shall perceive, and those who have not heard shall understand.”

Ephesians 1:15-19 Because of this, and hearing of your faith that is in the Lord Jesus, and of your love toward all the saints,

I have not ceased giving thanks for you, calling you to mind in my prayers,
so that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give a spirit of wisdom and of revelation to you, in knowledge of him.
May the eyes of your heart be illuminated, so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and the wealth of the glory of his inheritance with the saints,
and the preeminent magnitude of his virtue toward us, toward we who believe in accord with the work of his powerful virtue,

Romans 11:13-14 For I say to you Gentiles: Certainly, as long as I am an Apostle to the Gentiles, I will honor my ministry,

in such a way that I might provoke to rivalry those who are my own flesh, and so that I may save some of them.

1 Corinthians 1:26-31 So take care of your vocation, brothers. For not many are wise according to the flesh, not many are powerful, not many are noble.

But God has chosen the foolish of the world, so that he may confound the wise. And God has chosen the weak of the world, so that he may confound the strong.
And God has chosen the ignoble and contemptible of the world, those who are nothing, so that he may reduce to nothing those who are something.
So then, nothing that is of the flesh should glory in his sight.
But you are of him in Christ Jesus, who was made by God to be our wisdom and justice and sanctification and redemption.
And so, in the same way, it was written: “Whoever glories, should glory in the Lord.”

Acts 15:12 Then the entire multitude was silent. And they were listening to Barnabas and Paul, describing what great signs and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles through them.

Acts 21:18-21 Then, on the following day, Paul entered with us to James. And all the elders were assembled.

And when he had greeted them, he explained each thing that God had accomplished among the Gentiles through his ministry.
And they, upon hearing it, magnified God and said to him: “You understand, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law.
Now they have heard about you, that you are teaching those Jews who are among the Gentiles to withdraw from Moses, telling them that they should not circumcise their sons, nor act according to custom.

Acts 2:18-21 And certainly, upon my men and women servants in those days, I will pour out from my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.

And I will bestow wonders in heaven above, and signs on earth below: blood and fire and the vapor of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and manifest day of the Lord arrives.
And this shall be: whoever shall invoke the name of the Lord will be saved.’

Isaiah 52:13-15 Behold, my servant will understand; he will be exalted and lifted up, and he will be very sublime.

Just as they were stupefied over you, so will his countenance be without glory among men, and his appearance, among the sons of men.
He will sprinkle many nations; kings will close their mouth because of him. And those to whom he was not described, have seen. And those who have not heard, have considered.
