Responding to questions

Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.

If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.

Isaiah 55:11 NKJV So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for

reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:19-21 NKJV And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place,

until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first,

that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

Job 38:1-3 NKJV Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said;

Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?

Now prepare yourself like a man, I will question you, and you shall answer Me.

Job 40:6-7 NKJV Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me:

Job 42:4-7 NKJV Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’

I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees you.

Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.” And so it was,

after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant job has.

Romans 10:14-17 NKJV How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach unless they are sentAs it is written; “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Acts 26:17-18 NKJVI will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,

‘to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

Romans 15:4-7 NKJV For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,

that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

Here is Today’s Message

Proverbs 4:1-9 Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, And give attention to know understanding;

For I give you good doctrine; Do not forsake my law.

When I was my father’s son, Tender and the only one in the sight of my mother,

He also taught me, and said to me; “Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands, and live.

Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.

Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you.

Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.

She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”

Psalm 34:1-22 I WILL bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.

Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.

I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.

They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.

This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.

The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.

Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good things.

Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good?

Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit.

Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.

The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.

The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken.

Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.

The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

Proverbs 2:1-9 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you,

So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;

Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding,

If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures;

Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, And find the knowledge of God.

For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come understanding;

He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;

He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints

Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path.

Matthew 13:44-52 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,

“who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind,

“which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.

“So it will be at the end of the age. The angles will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just,

“and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

The He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”
