How to hear and understand the Gospel

Job 38:1-3 Then the LORD replied to Job out of the tempest and said:

Who is this who darkens counsel, Speaking without knowledge?

Gird your loins like a man; I will ask and you will inform Me.

Job 40:6-7 Then the LORD replied to Job out of the tempest and said;

Gird your loins like a man; I will ask, and you will inform Me.

Job 42:4-7 Hear now, and I will speak; I will ask, and You will inform me.

I had heard You with my ears, But now I see You with my eyes;

Therefore, I recant and relent, Being but dust and ashes.

After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz, “I am incensed at you and your two friends, for you have not spoken the truth about Me as did My servant Job.

Here is Today’s Message

1 Samuel 16:6-13 When they arrived and he saw Eliab, he thought: “Surely the LORD’S anointed stands before Him.”

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Pay no attention to his appearance or his stature, for I have rejected him. For not as man sees [does the LORD see]; man sees only what is visible, but the LORD sees into the heart.”

Then Jesse called Abinadab and had him pass before Samuel; but he said, “The LORD has not chosen this one either.”

Next Jesse presented Shammah; and again he said, “The LORD has not chosen this one either.”

Thus Jesse presented seven of his sons before Samuel, and Samuel said to Jesse, “The LORD has not chosen any of these.”

Then Samuel asked Jesse, “Are these all the boys you have?” He replied, “There is still the youngest; he is tending the flock.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send someone to bring him, for we will not sit down to eat until he gets here.”

So they sent and brought him. He was ruddy-cheeked, bright-eyed, and handsome. And the LORD said, “Rise and anoint him, for this the one?”

Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers; and the spirit of the LORD gripped David from that day on. Samuel then set out for Ramah.

Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.

If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.
