    Responding to questions

    I would suggest before reading this Bible message that you would please read the About the Blog post. The purpose of this site is to take questions in the Bible and only use Scripture to answer the question.

    Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages. If I spend time doing  messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions. Share your God stories here.

    If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version that might be easier to read. If you want more information about  the study read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible.

    The only technical information I have is being obedient to what God puts on my heart to do. God gave me the help that I needed all along the way. He will help me when there are any issues of compatibility for you to read the stories. I also have a person I contact with any changes that need to be made.

    Isaiah 55:11 KJV  So what shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

    2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness;

    That the man of God may be perfectthoroughly furnished unto all good works.

    2 Peter 1:19-21 KJV  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; where unto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts;

    Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scriptureis of any private interpretation.

    For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man; but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

    How to hear and understand the Gospel

    Job 38:1-2 KJV Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

    Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge

    Job 40:6-7 KJV Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

    Gird up thy lions now like a man; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

    Job 42:4-7 KJV Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

    I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear; but now mine eye seeth thee.

    Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

    And it will be so, that after the LORD spoke these words unto Job, the LORD said to E-li’-phaz the Te’-manite, My wrath is kindled against theeand against thy two friends; for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

    Romans 10:14-17 KJV How then shall they call on him of whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

    And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

    But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For E-sa’-ias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

    So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    Acts 26:17-18  KJV Delivering from thee the people, and from the Gen’-tiles, unto whom now I send thee,

    To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Sa’-tan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

    Romans 15:4-7 KJV For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

    Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Je’-sus;

    That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Je’-sus Christ.

    Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

    Here is today’s message

    1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

    Hereby know ye the Spirit of God; every spirit that confesseth that Je’-sus Christ is come in the flesh is of God;

    And every spirit that confesseth not that Je’-sus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God; and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

    1 Corinthians 14:26-33 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

    If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

    But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

    Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

    If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

    For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

    And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

    For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

    1 Corinthians 12:1-3 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

    Ye know that ye were Gen’-tiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

    Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Je’-sus accursed; and that no man say that Je’-sus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
