Responding to questions

Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.

If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

Job 38:1-3 Then the LORD replied to Job out of the tempest and said;

Who is this who darkens counsel, Speaking without knowledge?

Gird your loins like a man; I will ask and you will inform Me.

Job 40:6-7 Then the LORD replied to job out of the tempest and said;

Gird your loins like a man, I will ask, and you will inform Me.

Job 42:4-7 Hear now, and I will speak; I will ask, and You will inform me.

I had heard You with my ears, But now I see You with my eyes;

Therefore, I recant and relent, Being but dust and ashes.

After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am incensed at you and your two friends, for you have not spoken the truth about Me as did My servant Job.

Here is Today’s Message

Psalms 60:8-10 God promised in His sanctuary that I would exultingly divide up Shechem, and measure the Valley of Sukkoth;

Gilead and Manasseh would be mine, Ephraim my chief stronghold, Judah my scepter;

Moab would be my washbasin; on Edom I would cast my shoe; acclaim me, O Philistia!

Psalms 89:31-36 If his sons forsake my Teaching and do not live by My rulers;

if they violate My laws, and do not observe My commands,

I will punish their transgression with the rod, their iniquity with plagues.

But I will not take away My steadfast love from him; I will not betray My faithfulness.

i will not violate My covenant, or change what I have uttered.

I have sworn by My holiness, once and for all; I will not be false to David.

Genesis 12:4-9 Abram went forth as the LORD had commanded him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

Abram took his wife Sarai and his brother’s son Lot, and all the wealth that they had amassed, and the persons that they had acquired in Haran; and they set out for the land of Canaan. When they arrived in the land of Canaan,

Abram passed through the land as far as the site of Shechem, at the terebinth of Moreh. The Canaanites were then in the land.

The LORD appeared to Abram and said, “I will assign this land to your offspring.” And he built an altar there to the LORD who had appeared to him.

From there he moved on to the hill country east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and he built there an altar to the LORD and invoked the LORD by name.

Then Abram journeyed by stages toward the Negeb.

Joshua 13:27-28 and in the Valley, Beth-haram, Beth-nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon–the rest of the kingdom of Sihon, the king of Heshbon–down to the edge of the Jordan and up to the tip of the sea of Chinnereth on the east side of the Jordan.

That was the portion of the Gadites, for their various clans–those towns with their villages.

Deuteronomy 33:17 Like a firstling bull in his majesty, He had thorns like the horns of the wild-ox; With them he gores the peoples, The ends of the earth one and all. These are the myriads of Ephrain, Those are the thousands of Manasseh.

2 Samuel 8:1-3 Some time afterward, David attacked the Philistines and subdued them, and David took Metheg-ammah from the Philistines.

He also defeated the Moabites. He made them lie down on the ground and he measured them off with a cord, he measured out two lengths of cord for those who were to be put to death, and one length for those to be spared, And the Moabites became tributary vassals of David.

David defeated Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah, who was then on his way to restore his monument at the Euphrates River.

2 Samuel 8:14 He stationed garrisons in Edom–he stationed garrisons in all of Edom–and all the Edomites became vassals of David. The LORD gave David victory wherever he went.
