Responding to questions
Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.
If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.
Isaiah 55:11 KJV So what shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness;
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Peter 1:19-21 KJV We have also a more sure word of prophecy; where unto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts;
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man; but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
How to hear and understand the Gospel
Job 38:1-2 KJV Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
Job 40:6-7 KJV Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
Gird up thy lions now like a man; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
Job 42:4-7 KJV Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear; but now mine eye seeth thee.
Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
And it will be so, that after the LORD spoke these words unto Job, the LORD said to E-li’-phaz the Te’-manite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends; for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
Romans 10:14-17 KJV How then shall they call on him of whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach, except they be went? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For E-sa’-ias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Acts 26:17-18 KJV Delivering from thee the people, and from the Gen’-tiles, unto whom now I send thee,
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Sa’-tan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Romans 15:4-7 KJV For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Now the God patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Je’-sus;
That ye nay with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Je’-sus Christ.
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
Here is today’s message
Job 37:11-13 Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud; he scattereth his bright cloud;
And it is turned round about by his counsels; that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
Job 36:26-33 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
For he maketh small the drops of water; they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof;
Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.
Exodus 9:18-26 Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in E’-gypt since the foundation thereof even until now.
Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.
He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pha’-raoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses;
And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.
And the LORD said unto Mo’-ses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of E’-gypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of E’-gypt.
And Mo’-ses stretched forth his rod toward heaven; and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of E’-gypt.
So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, vert grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of E’-gypt since it became a nation.
And the hail smote throughout all the land of E’-gypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.
Only in the land of Go’-shen, where the children of is’-ra-el were, was there no hail.
Job 38:25-30 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
1 Kings 18:41-46 And E-li’-jah said unto A’-hab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
So A’-hab went up to eat and to drink. And E-li’-jah went up to the top of Car’-mel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees.
And said to his servant, Go up now, look forward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.
And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto A’-hab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.
And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And A’-hab rode, and went to Jez’-reel.
And the hand of the LORD was on E-li’-jah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before A’-hab to the entrance of Jez’-reel.
