Responding to questions

Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.

If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.

Isaiah 55:11 NKJV E100 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV E100 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:19-21 NKJV E100 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,

for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

The LORD Reveals His Omnipotence to Job

Job 38:1-3 NKJV E100 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said;

“Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?

Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me.

God’s Challenge to Job

Job 40:6-7 NKJV E100 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said;

“Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me,

Job 42:4-7 NKJV E100 Listen. please, and let me speak; You said,’I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’

“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.

Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.”

And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Elipahaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.

Israel Rejects the Gospel

Romans 10:14-17 NKJV E100 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “LORD, who has believed our report?”

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Acts 26:17-18 NKJV E100 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,

to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

Romans 15:4-7 NKJV E100 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,

that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Glorify God Together

Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

Here is Today’s Message

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath

Matthew 12:1-8 At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. And His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain and to eat.

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him. ¨Look, Your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath!

But He said to them, ¨Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him;

how he entered the house of God and are the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?

Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?

Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple.

But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the guiltless.

For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.

Deuteronomy 23:24-25 “When you come into your neighbor’s vineyard, you may eat your fill of grapes at your pleasure, but you shall not put any in your container.

When you come into your neighbor’s standing grain, you may pluck the heads with your hand, but you shall not use a sickle on your neighbor’s standing grain.

David and the Holy Bread

1 Samuel 21:1-6 Now David came to Nob, to Ahimelech the priest. And Ahimelech was afraid when he met David, and said to him, “Why are you alone, and no one is with you?”

So David said to Ahimelech the priest, “The king has ordered me on some business, and said to me, ‘Do not let anyone know anything about the business on which I send you, or what I have commanded you.’ And I have directed my young men to such and such a place.

Now therefore, what have you on hand? Give me five loaves of bread in my hand, or whatever can be found.”

And the priest answered David and said, “There is no common bread on hand; but there is holy bread, if the young men have at least kept themselves from women.”

Then David answered the priest, and said to him, “Truly, women have been kept from us about three days since I came out. And the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in effect common, even though it was consecrated in the vessel this day.”

So the priest gave him holy bread; for there was no bread there but the showbread which has been taken from before the LORD, in order to put hot bread in its place on the day when it was taken away.

The Bread of the Tabernacle

Leviticus 24:5-9 And you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it. Two-tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake.

You shall set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure pure gold table before the LORD.

And you shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

Every Sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holt place; for it is most holy to him from the offerings of the LORD made by fire, by a perpetual stature.”

Exodus 29:31-34 “And you shall take the ram of the consecration and boil its flesh in the holy p[lace.

Then Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

They shall eat those things with which the atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them; but an outsider shall not eat them, because they are holy.

And if any of the flesh of the consecration offerings, or of the bread, remains until the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire, It shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

Sabbath Offerings

Numbers 28:9-10 And on the Sabbath day two lambs in their first year, without blemish, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, with its drink offering–

this is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering.
