Responding to questions

Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.

If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.

Isaiah 55:11 NKJV So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:19-21 NKJV And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,

knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,

for prophecy never came by the will of  man, but holy men of God spoke as  they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

Job 38:1-3 NKJV Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said;

“Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?

Now prepare yourself like a man, I will question you, and you shall answer Me.

Job 40:6-7 NKJV Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

“Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me:

Job 42:4-7 NKJV Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’

“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees you.

Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.”

And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant job has.

Romans 10:14-17 NKJV How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written; “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Acts 26:17-18 NKJV ‘I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,

‘to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may  receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

Romans 15:4-7 NKJV For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,

that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

Here is Today’s Message

Romans 4:13-21 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Anraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

For if those who are of the law are heirs,  faith is made void and the promise made of no effect,

because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.

Therefore it is of faith that it might ne according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed–God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be,”

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

Romans 9:3-5 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh,

who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises;

of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.

Romans 9:8-9 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

For this is the word of promise; “At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.”

Romans 15:8-13 Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers,

and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written; “For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name.”

And again he says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!”

And again; “Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!”

And again, Isaiah says; “There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.”

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 1:19-22 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us–by me, Silvanus, and Timothy–was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

Now he who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,

who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
