Responding to questions

Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.

If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.

Isaiah 55:11 NKJV So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:19-21 NKJV And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,

knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,

for prophecy never came by the will of  man, but holy men of God spoke as  they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

Job 38:1-3 NKJV Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said;

“Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?

Now prepare yourself like a man, I will question you, and you shall answer Me.

Job 40:6-7 NKJV Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

“Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me:

Job 42:4-7 NKJV Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’

“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees you.

Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.”

And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant job has.

Romans 10:14-17 NKJV How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written; “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Acts 26:17-18 NKJV ‘I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,

‘to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may  receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

Romans 15:4-7 NKJV For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,

that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

Here is Today’s Message

Luke 24:44-49 Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning me.”

And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day.

“and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

“And you are witnesses of these things.

“Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

Acts 1:4-8 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;

“for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Acts 2:30-33 “Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,

“he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.

“This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

“Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

Acts 2:39 “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

Acts 7:17-18 “But when the time of the promise drew near which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt

“till another king arose who did not know Joseph.

Acts 13:22-23 “And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’

“From this man’s seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior–Jesus–

Acts 13:32-33 “And we declare to you glad tidings–that promise which was made to the fathers.

“God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.’

Acts 23:20-22 And he said, “The Jews have agreed to ask that you bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though they ere going to inquire more fully about him.

“But do not yield to them, for more than forty of them lie in wait for him, men who have bound themselves by an oath that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him; and now they are ready, waiting for the promise from you.”

So the commander let the young man depart, and commanded him, “Tell no one that you have revealed these things to me.”

Acts 26:6-7 “And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers.

“To this promise our twelve tribes, earnestly serving God night and day, hope to attain. For this hope’s sake, King Agrippa, I am accused by the Jews.
