Responding to questions

Note that I am the only person typing or copy and pasting these messages at this time. If I spend time doing messages on other sites I will get behind on adding more studies in multiple versions, formats of sharing the gospel, and languages.

If the first version that you try to read is difficult to understand check for another version of the same study on this site that might be easier to read. If you want more information about the study that has a question in the title read the verses around the Question and Answer in the Bible. The same goes for all the formats of sharing the gospel messages on this site.

Isaiah 55:11 JSB So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 JSB All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:19-21 JSB And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,

knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,

for prophecy never came by the will of  man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

The LORD Reveals His Omnipotence to Job

Job 38:1-3 JSB Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said;

“Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?

Now prepare yourself like a man, I will question you, and you shall answer Me.

God’s Challenge to Job

Job 40:6-7 JSB Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

“Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me:

Job 42:4-7 JSB Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’

“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees you.

Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.”

And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant job has.

Israel Rejects the Gospel

Romans 10:14-17 JSB How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written; “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Acts 26:17-18 JSB ‘I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,

‘to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may  receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

Romans 15:4-7 JSB For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,

that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Glorify God Together

Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

Here is Today’s Message

1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spieits, whether they are of God; because many flase prophets have gone out into the world.

By this you know the Spirit of God; Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Chrsit has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is gthe spirit of the Antichrist, which you ahve heard was coming, and is now aleady in the world.

Order in Church Meetings

1 Corinthians 14:26-33 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come togetyher, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret.

But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God.

Let two or three propets speak, and let the others judge.

But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent.

For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.

And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets

For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

Spiritual Gifts: Unity in Diversity

1 Corinthians 12:1-3 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant;

You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to those dumb idols, however you you were led.

Therefore I make known to you that no one speakimg by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
